Turmeric
Turmeric has been used as an Ayurvedic medicine for centuries due to its active ingredient, Curcumin. Many studies have been carried out and showed the effects of taking curcumin for conditions that cause pain and inflammation.
To make Turmeric tea add peeled turmeric root or turmeric powder in hot water for 10 minutes, strain. To ensure your body fully absorbs the curcumin it’s recommended that you add black pepper. There are over 50 different antioxidants found in Ginger. These antioxidants help reduce the number of inflammatory chemicals in your body.
One study showed taking 1000mg of ginger daily dramatically reduced inflammatory markers in patients who suffered from osteoarthritis. Rosehip
Tea made with rosehip has many health benefits including helping inflammation. To get the most antioxidants from your rosehip tea you should use fresh rose hips. To make your rosehip tea use 10 whole fresh rose hips mash them and mix with hot water let sit for 5 minutes then strain.
