Is also known as the sunshine vitamin is needed more in the winter months as your body produces vitamin D when it is exposed to sunlight. This can be difficult during the winter as there is less sunlight and we spend more time indoors.

This is particularly important during the winter months as some people can suffer from depression and anxiety. This is known as the “winter blues”

Also known as ascorbic acid is well known for its protection against cold and flu viruses. Vitamin C helps boost your immune system helping your body fight winter germs. Unfortunately, our bodies can not produce vitamin C so it’s important for us to get it from our diet or high-quality supplements. 

Not only are these vitamins important during the winter months you should also include minerals such as Iron and Zinc.
